Could all that fat actually just be muscle? It would explain his high health and his minigun.

Heavy and Demo are the only two classes wearing visible body armor, that's probably one of the reasons for his high durability.

Actually, he does wear a vest of some sort. I would just assume it's a bullet-proof vest.

No, it's armour. But instead of absorbing damage, it adds to their maximum health.

The tf2 wiki also says that the demo and heavy wear body armour.

idk about tf2 wiki, but on normal wikipedia, anyone with an account can edit stuff. there is a student in my year at school who apparently likes to randomly edit in swear words just  for the fun of it, do you really truse those people? :P

In the tf2 wiki nobody can just randomly "add to it", Heavy and Demo DO wear body armour, and the reason your health dosn't go down when you put a heavy shirt on is because the shirt goes on over the armour. I think i just covered this argument. No need to thank me   ;)

Because they do not wear armour, and when you put on the shirt for heavy, even if he dose, he now dosent.
