Cheap tf2 items!?!

Dose anyone know how to get really cheap tf2 items... im regularly poor and this seems like the friendly sort of community that wouldn't mind helping me out...

Basically the only way to get items is to play and get drops, trade or beg. People don't really tend to like beggers, it's rare to get a good drop, so really you just want to trade.
Try scrapbanking. Buy 2weps for 1scrap and sell them 1scrap each, easy. Some people will pay over a scrap each if they really want the wep.

Welcome to the empty-clip forums! I would agree with Magnum, though try to get some friends in the community, they're bound to have a spare pair of gunboats or whatever you wish. Scrapbanking is also a great way, if you don't know already, Scrapbanking is making scrap (2 items of the same class) and selling 1 scrap for 2 weapons. People scrapbank because they have two unwanted weapons that are different classes. You are giving them the scrap so they don't have to get one of the same class, everyone is happy that way. Also if you have any unwanted weapons, they usually sell off at 1 scrap. Good luck!

@Enoughmercy. Sure, this is what scrapbanking is SUPPOSED to be, but what you do to make profit is sell a scrap for 2 weapons and then sell those weapons at 1scrap each, making 1scrap every time. There's no point doing what Enoughmercy said if your looking to make a profit, as TheZone seems to be.

I just type in chat saying that I'm selling almost all of my weps for 1 scrap each. once I have tonnes of scrap I scrapbank and end up with double the weps! Try this. Sometimes it can be hard to sell weps though.

Thats what scrapbanking is, and it is a great money maker if you are persistent and dont give up on selling weapons after 10minutes when nobody wants them!

Yeah good point Millak! I didn't know that was Scrapbanking though. I thought scrap banking was selling the scrap for 2 clean weps. I guess I was wrong about that! xD

Ye when I did that I made 10 Ref xD also I was selling Keys and TOD Tickets, but the "Scrapbanking" got me about 2 Ref
